Constructing in a dream

Biblical meaning from Hearing God's Voice in Dreams by Apostle Nicholas V. Mbanjwa

Also: Construction, Raising up a structure, Building work, Erecting, Building people up

What it means

Being called to grow people spiritually; equipping; perfecting the saints.

A spiritual calling; a teaching ministry; a pastoral calling.

According to the grace of God which is given unto me, as a wise masterbuilder, I have laid the foundation, and another buildeth thereon. Every builder answers for how he builds on what was laid.

✦ When it is positive

Raising disciples for Christ
Releasing able believers for the work of the ministry
Equipping

⚠ When it is a warning

Building on another's foundation without care
Building with material that will not survive testing

How to tell the difference

This concerns the ACT of building people rather than a building as a place — for the structure itself see Building. Note what is being constructed, what it is made of, and whether the dreamer builds alone or with others.

Scripture

According to the grace of God which was given to me, as a wise master builder I laid a foundation, and another builds on it. But let each man be careful how he builds on it.
