What it means

Being taken care of as a child of God — eating in the Bible is the highest order of fellowship.

In Africa, eating in dreams is treated with particular caution since it can also represent spiritual poisoning. The key distinction is whether you finished the meal: if you finished the food in the dream — resort to prayer immediately. If you did not finish — you conquered the evil plot.

The meal-offering of the Old Testament required the offerer to eat from it, representing fellowship between God and man.

How to tell the difference

Mark 16:17-18 is cited as assurance for believers — God has already taken care of believers in this area. But if the dream was clearly negative and you finished the meal, pray immediately.
