Faded in a dream
Biblical meaning from Hearing God's Voice in Dreams by Apostle Nicholas V. Mbanjwa
Also: Washed out, Diminished colour, Pale, Colour drained
What it means
Human mortality — the colour of a corpse or of one severely sick, symbolising pestilence, plague and death.
God's judgment.
The grass withereth, the flower fadeth: but the word of our God shall stand for ever. What fades is set against what does not.
✦ When it is positive
- What fades set against the word of God which abides for ever
⚠ When it is a warning
- Plague
- Judgment
- Life draining away
- Vitality lost
How to tell the difference
FADING IS A PROCESS, not a state — the dream usually concerns something losing its life rather than something already dead. Note WHAT is fading: a person, a garment, a landscape, or a memory.
Scripture

Revelation 6:8 (WEB)
For the sun arises with the scorching wind and withers the grass; and the flower in it falls, and the beauty of its appearance perishes. So the rich man will also fade away in his pursuits.
