Flying in a dream
Biblical meaning from Hearing God's Voice in Dreams by Apostle Nicholas V. Mbanjwa
Also: Flying in a dream, Soaring, Having wings, Struggling to fly, Flying away
What it means
Strength and the grace to overcome obstacles or challenges (Isaiah 40:31); it also represents God’s deliverance.
Flying away from something: being empowered to escape or avoid something (Psalm 55:6).
Being given wings to fly: the grace given to you to function in a spiritual dimension higher than your limitations or your enemies (Revelation 12:14).
Something flying away from you: something lost (Hosea 9:11).
Flying up and feeling bigger than, or above, everyone: when the dreamer looks down on others instead of feeling delivered, joyful and at peace, flying represents pride (Obadiah 1:4).
Struggling to fly: an inability to flow in the realm of the spirit (the air); it also means a need to adjust to a new spiritual operation.
Soaring above without needing to use strength: entering a realm of rest.
✦ When it is positive

- Soaring effortlessly: entering a realm of rest
⚠ When it is a warning

How to tell the difference
Weigh how you felt while flying. Feeling delivered, joyful and at peace points to grace and deliverance; feeling bigger than, or above, everyone and looking down on others points to pride. Then note what was flying (you, or something leaving you), whether you were flying away from something, and whether it took effort or you soared at rest.
