Foreigner in a dream
Biblical meaning from Hearing God's Voice in Dreams by Apostle Nicholas V. Mbanjwa
Also: A stranger from another country, Foreign national, Immigrant, A person from another country
What it means
Someone at your mercy, or who will be in your mercy — a child of God you are meant to help along your journey.
Scripture commands that the corners of the field and the gleanings be left for the poor and the stranger (Leviticus 19:9-10, Leviticus 23:22).
'I was a stranger, and ye took me in' (Matthew 25:35) — the stranger you receive is received unto the Lord.
Can also be literal: about to be involved with, or called to, people outside your borders.
✦ When it is positive
- Someone at your mercy, or who will be in your mercy
- A child of God you are meant to help along your journey
- A cross-cultural calling beyond your borders
⚠ When it is a warning
- In a dream of a negative context — a diabolic entity
How to tell the difference
Weigh the atmosphere of the dream. A peaceful, warm, or ordered dream points to a person God is placing in your care; a dark, fearful, or oppressive dream points to a diabolic entity. This concerns a spiritual presence discerned by the dream's tone — it is never a judgement about any real person of another nationality.
