Gate in a dream

Biblical meaning from Hearing God's Voice in Dreams by Apostle Nicholas V. Mbanjwa

What it means

Leadership, counsel, advisory position, prestige, influential position in a community, dominion. Also something you have allowed and have the power to reject — the ability to loose Kingdom conditions and blessings.

A major entry point to a territory of authority.

✦ When it is positive

Leadership position
Counsel
Dominion
Loosing Kingdom blessings
An open gate — a call to advance

⚠ When it is a warning

A gate opened to the enemy — something wrongly allowed
An open gate in a dream of attack — let-down authority
A shut gate when you are supposed to be moving — a challenge to your authority

How to tell the difference

'Your seed shall possess the gate of his enemies.' (Genesis 22:17) If the dreamer was going and stopped before a closed gate and woke up, it means coming to the conclusion of a matter — the outcome depends on God.

Scripture

that I will bless you greatly, and I will multiply your offspring greatly like the stars of the heavens, and like the sand which is on the seashore. Your offspring will possess the gate of his enemies.
