Hearing God's Voice in DreamsA–Z symbolsMirror in a dream
Biblical meaning from Hearing God's Voice in Dreams by Apostle Nicholas V. Mbanjwa
What it means
The Word of God.
Dreaming of looking into a mirror means a season of deeply reading the Word; what the person sees wrong in the mirror is what the Holy Spirit reveals should be fixed in that season.
Self-reflection and perception — what you see is how you currently perceive your own spiritual state or assignment.
✦ When it is positive
- The Word of God reflecting who you truly are
⚠ When it is a warning
- Looking and immediately forgetting — hearing but not doing the Word
- A broken mirror — a distorted view into the Word of God, or relying on a wrong perception of one's self
How to tell the difference
'If someone listens to God's word but doesn't do what it says, he is like a person who looks at his face in a mirror, studies his features, goes away, and immediately forgets what he looks like.' (James 1:23-24)
Scripture
23For if anyone is a hearer of the word and not a doer, he is like a man looking at his natural face in a mirror; 24for he sees himself, and goes away, and immediately forgets what kind of man he was.
