How to tell the difference

Breastplate stone tied to the tribe of Joseph. Note: The raw Exodus 28:15-21 text quoted in the book lists the fourth-row stone as 'gray quartz' (a translation/terminology variation). The author's own interpretive framework, developed in detail immediately after that quote, explicitly identifies and defines this stone as Onyx with a flesh-pink color, tied to Joseph and to Christ's loving nature. The authorial definition is the standing one for dream interpretation purposes — the verse variation reflects a difference in translation source, not a contradiction of the framework.
