Shofar in a dream
Biblical meaning from Hearing God's Voice in Dreams by Apostle Nicholas V. Mbanjwa
Also: Ram's horn, Shophar, Horn, Jubilee trumpet
What it means
A spiritual alert, a prophetic call, and the announcement of a spiritual revolution.
A summons to prepare for what is coming, and a call to a holy gathering.
The shofar of jubilee announced release: debts cancelled, slaves freed, inheritance returned. Its sound marked a change of era, not merely a change of day.
✦ When it is positive
- A call to the people of God to prepare for a coming move or shift
- An announcement of release and restoration
⚠ When it is a warning
- A war cry
- An alarm of approaching danger
How to tell the difference
Note the KIND of blast. A gathering call assembles; an alarm scatters and warns. If the shofar is blown by the dreamer, the dream concerns a message they are to carry; if heard from elsewhere, it concerns a summons they are to answer.
