Imparting a spiritual gift to someone; empowering a person to function in their spiritual calling; the transfer of authority.

Identifying a potential mentee; releasing someone into their God-ordained ministry where they submit under the dreamer; identifying one to whom a baton may be passed, where the dreamer has longevity in ministry.

How to tell the difference

Note the DIRECTION. If the dreamer anoints another, the dream concerns a mentee or successor. If the dreamer is anointed, it concerns a calling being confirmed over them. Note also the oil, the vessel, and who else is present.
