What it means

A warfare dream — being delivered from enemies, whether police at night, animals, or a group of people pursuing the dreamer.

Persecution and threat.

We are persecuted, but not forsaken; cast down, but not destroyed. Pursuit that does not overtake is itself a testimony of preservation.

Being chased and NOT caught, representing deliverance from the enemy or enemies
Enemies fleeing before the dreamer, representing a reversal of the pursuit

Being chased and CAUGHT, representing having been overcome by the enemy or enemies

How to tell the difference

The DECIDING DETAIL is whether the dreamer is caught. If the dreamer wakes having been caught, they should pray until they have peace in their spirit. Note also who or what is pursuing — police at night, animals, or a crowd each identify a different source of the attack.
