A circle closed is agreement kept; a circle opened is agreement failing. The gap is where the breach has occurred.

How to tell the difference

A broken circle is usually a CALL TO PRAY rather than a verdict already passed. Note whose circle it is and where the break appears. Distinguish from Circle, which is completeness, and from Ring, which is the covenant token itself.
