Burying in a dream
Biblical meaning from Hearing God's Voice in Dreams by Apostle Nicholas V. Mbanjwa
Also: Interment, Putting in the ground, Burial, Covering with earth
What it means
Putting an end to the past; concealing something; covering completely.
Finally putting something to rest; coming to complete terms with a matter.
Joseph went up to bury his father, and a great company went with him. Burial in Scripture is a closing of an account, done deliberately and with witnesses.
✦ When it is positive
- Where the tone of the dream is positive, moving on and burying the old or the past behind
⚠ When it is a warning
- Where the tone of the dream is negative, this may be literal; if the dreamer was burying a family member, they should pray for that family member
How to tell the difference
THE TONE DECIDES. A positive burial is closure. A negative burial calls for prayer over the person shown, and the dreamer should pray until they have peace in their spirit. Do not pronounce an outcome over the person buried — the counsel is prayer and watchfulness.
