The fold has one door. He that enters another way is a thief and a robber, so the manner of entry identifies who a person is.

How to tell the difference

Note the DOOR. Entry by the door identifies the true shepherd; entry by climbing in another way identifies a thief. Also note whether the dreamer is inside, outside, or leading the sheep.
