A need to exercise choice; a point where the dreamer is required to make a decision.

Committing to one choice only; a crucial moment of decision — life or death.

How long halt ye between two opinions? The dream is often not asking which path is better but why the dreamer has not yet moved.

How to tell the difference

Note the DIFFERENCE between the two paths as shown — width, light, condition, who stands on each. Note also whether the dreamer chooses, hesitates, or wakes before deciding, since an unresolved choice usually means the decision is still before them.
