Gatekeeper in a dream
Biblical meaning from Hearing God's Voice in Dreams by Apostle Nicholas V. Mbanjwa
Also: Gate keeper, Doorkeeper, Porter, Keeper of the gate
What it means
The spiritual leader the dreamer submits under; one given authority and power over a specific space, to permit and to forbid.
Protector, steward, guardian; the granting of access.
Set a watch, O Lord, before my mouth; keep the door of my lips. Every gate has a keeper, including the gate of a person's own speech.
✦ When it is positive
- Authority to permit or refuse
- Influence over a specific space
- Responsibility
- Accountability
⚠ When it is a warning
- A territorial spirit guarding access to certain spaces, permitting entry only under submission to its own power and control
How to tell the difference
THE CHIEF GATEKEEPER IS GOD HIMSELF. If the dreamer IS the gatekeeper, the dream concerns their God-given responsibility and stewardship over what they spiritually allow and disallow. If another keeps the gate, establish who — a leader they submit to, or something claiming a right it does not have.
Scripture
