How to tell the difference

READ THE MANNER OF THE LOCKING. Finding the gate ALREADY LOCKED against entry represents divine restriction. Someone locking it BEFORE the dreamer walks in represents opposition or resistance — the dreamer may still get in or not, depending on how the dream ends; and a dream that ends without conclusion means the outcome depends on the dreamer. A gate locked WHILE THE DREAMER IS INSIDE represents protection, unless they feel captured, in which case it represents captivity.
