Shore in a dream
Biblical meaning from Hearing God's Voice in Dreams by Apostle Nicholas V. Mbanjwa
Also: Beach, Riverbank, Seashore, Sea shore, The bank
What it means
The boundary of divine order; standing on the shore and looking out to sea represents a vision involving nations, and transition.
A call into the deep or into the unknown; a call to launch out.
The Lord placed the sand for the bound of the sea by a perpetual decree. The shore is where the limit God set becomes visible.
✦ When it is positive
- A place of being called into the unknown
- A prophetic vision toward the nations
- The place where the net is drawn in and the sorting is done
⚠ When it is a warning
- Standing on the shore unwilling to launch out
- A boundary the dreamer will not cross
How to tell the difference
The sand on the seashore represents many people. Note the DIRECTION the dreamer faces: looking out to sea speaks of calling and what lies ahead; looking back to land speaks of what is being left or refused.
