Swamp in a dream
Biblical meaning from Hearing God's Voice in Dreams by Apostle Nicholas V. Mbanjwa
Also: Marsh, Bog, Miry place, Marshland
What it means
A place where life cannot survive; desolation and ruin.
Judgment, or ground that has been left unhealed.
In Ezekiel's vision the river healed the waters it reached, but the miry places and marshes were not healed — they were given to salt.
⚠ When it is a warning
- Being left to ruin
- Desolation
- Ground that the river did not reach
How to tell the difference
Behemoth, a creature of chaos, lies under the covert of the reed and the fens, which associates the marsh with lurking demonic danger. Note whether the dreamer is crossing the swamp, stuck in it, or watching something in it.
