Ultrasound in a dream

Biblical meaning from Hearing God's Voice in Dreams by Apostle Nicholas V. Mbanjwa

Also: Sonogram, Prenatal scan, Baby scan, Seeing the scan

What it means

Being given a prophetic revelation or supernatural word that something unseen is developing; the discernment of a new grace.

Something good is coming; God is bringing a blessing for the dreamer.

Thine eyes did see my substance, yet being unperfect. God sees what is forming long before it can be shown to anyone else.

✦ When it is positive

Prophetic revelation
Discerning what is being beautifully prepared that no eye has seen
The babe leaping in the womb at the sound of the promise

⚠ When it is a warning

Looking on the outward appearance where God looks on the heart

How to tell the difference

The ultrasound shows what is REAL BUT NOT YET VISIBLE. Note what is seen in the scan, who is present, and whether the dreamer is being shown their own developing promise or another's. This is revelation given, not a medical warning.

Scripture

But the LORD said to Samuel, “Don’t look on his face, or on the height of his stature, because I have rejected him; for I don’t see as man sees. For man looks at the outward appearance, but the LORD looks at the heart.”
1 Samuel 16:7 (WEB)

¹³For you formed my inmost being. You knit me together in my mother’s womb. ¹⁴I will give thanks to you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Your works are wonderful. My soul knows that very well. ¹⁵My frame wasn’t hidden from you, when I was made in secret, woven together in the depths of the earth. ¹⁶Your eyes saw my body. In your book they were all written, the days that were ordained for me, when as yet there were none of them.
Psalm 139:13-16 (WEB)

When Elizabeth heard Mary’s greeting, the baby leaped in her womb; and Elizabeth was filled with the Holy Spirit.
