Debt in a dream
Biblical meaning from Hearing God's Voice in Dreams by Apostle Nicholas V. Mbanjwa
Also: In debt, Owing money, Owing someone
What it means
An obligation that must be fulfilled; a moral obligation.
Bondage or servitude; sin.
The rich ruleth over the poor, and the borrower is servant to the lender.
✦ When it is positive
- A debt of love — owe no man any thing, but to love one another
- Being a debtor to all, as Paul was, in the sense of owing the gospel to others
⚠ When it is a warning
- Being servant to the lender
- Dependence and loss of freedom
- Guilt
- Coming short
How to tell the difference
DISTINGUISH THE KINDS OF DEBT. Financial debt in a dream speaks of bondage and lost freedom; the debt of love and the debt of the gospel are obligations rightly carried. Note who is owed and whether the debt is forgiven.
